I. Tujuan Pembelajaran :
Diakhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat:
1. Menggunkan cardinal dan ordinal number dalam berbagai konteks dengan tepat.
2. Mendeskripsikan peristiwa berdasarkan waktu, hari, bulan dan tahun.
II. Materi Ajar/Pembelajaran :
1. Cardinal and ordinal number: ten, twenty. First, fifth
2. Description of events: the accident happened at 9 p.m. on Monday, the 26th of July 2010
3. Preposistion of time: on, in, at
In + a month/a year/a century/a season
On + a date/a weekday
At noon, at night, at present, at + ‘clock time’
III. Metode Pembelajaran: Educational Drama (empty-chair technique)

Langkah-langkah :
1. Kegiatan Pendahuluan (5 menit)
1) Guru memulai pembelajaran dengan berdoa bersama
2) Guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran
3) Guru memotivasi siswa
4) Guru melakukan apersepsi

INITIATOR: The boy sitting in the chair is about nine years old. He is tall for his age and...
He is wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
INITIATOR (in dialogue): it was you who stole the money. I know it was you. You stole $5
two days ago. No... I did not see you take it, I didn’t have to see you take it... you have done it
before. You have stolen $15 before. You have been caught before...and you say your mother
gave you that money? You expect me to believe that, when she would not let you go on the
excursion next month? No... i won’t ask her.... anyway, everybody knows you are a thief.
6) Guru meminta perwakilan setiap kelompok untuk mempresentasikan hasil diskusi masing-
masing kelompoknya.

Langkah-langkah :
4. Kegiatan Pendahuluan (5 menit)
1) Guru memulai pembelajaran dengan berdoa bersama
2) Guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran
3) Guru memotivasi siswa
4) Guru melakukan apersepsi
5. Kegiatan Inti (75 menit)
1) Guru menerangkan materi cardinal and ordinal number, name of the days, month, and
years serta menerangkan preposition of time dan penggunaannya.
2) Guru meminta siswa untuk menyebutkan dan melafalkan cardinal and ordinal number,
name of the days, month, and years.
3) Guru membagi siswa menjadi enam kelompok.
4) Guru menyimpan satu buah kursi kosong di depan kelas. Guru bertindak sebagai inisiator.
Guru meminta siswa untuk membayangkan bahwa ada seseorang yang duduk di kursi
tersebut dengan ciri fisik, pakaian dan mimik. Siswa diminta untuk menyimak dan
kemudian mendiskusikannya. Setelah itu, guru berbicara pada orang imaginer tesrsebut
dalam monolog berikut:
