Read this to find out how to calculate the pulse rate Kadar Nadi Rehat (KNR) Kadar nadi rehat (KNR) iaitu denyutan nadi pada masa tidak melakukan aktiviti. Untuk mencari KNR yang tepat, ambil denyutan nadi pada waktu pagi, bangun daripada tidur, sekurangkurangnya dua hari berturut-turut selama 10 saat pada tiap-tiap bacaan. Pada waktu tersebut kita belum melakukan sebarang aktviti. Kemudian ambil purata daripada bacaan tadi yang telah dilakukan dan di darab dengan 6 untuk mendapatkan KNR untuk selama seminit. Contoh:12 denyutan selama 10 saat x 6 = 72 dsm. Kadar Nadi Maksimum (KNM) Kadar nadi maksimun ialah dengan menolak umur daripada angka 220 dimana 220 telah ditetapkan oleh ahli-alhi fisiologi senam sebagai satu angkatap formula. Contoh:Umur subjek ialah 33 tahun. KNM = 220 – 33 = 187 dsm. Kadar Nadi Latihan (KNL) Setelah mendapat KNR, bolehlah ditentukan pula kadar nadi latihan (KNL) Contoh :KNM = 220 – 33(umur) = 187 dsm KNR = 12(denyutan untuk sepuluh saat) x 6 = 72 dsm. KNL = KNM – KNR

= 187 – 72 = 115 dsm. Kadar Nadi Sasaran (KNS) Untuk mendapatkan pengiran KNL yang ideal bagi 60% ialah dengan menggunakan formula ini. Contoh :(KNM – KNR) x 0.6 + KNR = (187 - 72) x 0.6 + 72 = (115) x 0.6 + 72 = 69 +72 = 141 dsm
